Elmore Field Day – Wood Fired Pizzas

 

In the first week of October, a traditional spring event is held. Pizza Party Hire has been attending the Elmore Field Days since 2010 – with each year being bigger & better than the next, as more and more of the stall holders get to know how great our wood fired pizzas are.

Through every weather condition imaginable (welcome to spring in Victoria) we have continued to trade at Elmore Field Days – and we can’t wait to come back in 2014 and do it all again.

The first Elmore Field Days was held in October 1964 , and since then has gained recognition as one of Australia’s premier Field Days. Even more noteworthy is the fact that Elmore Field Days is completely community owed and run, and is a not-for-profit organisation – with profits being reallocated back into the community for local infrastructure and activities, and compensation to local organisation for their volunteer hours contribution during the Field Days.  As they state on their website, “the involvement of volunteers has been the backbone of these field days since inception – they are the lifeline of our organisation.”

 

The gates are open to the public from 8:30am to 5:00pm each day, and single day passes can be purchased for $18.00 Adults, $8.00 Secondary Students. Children under 12 years are Free.

Pizza Party Hire will be setting up this year’s Elmore Field Days in the Catering Service Area 6 (which is located on Hunter Drive – or the end of 5^th Avenue).  There we will be serving from our extensive public event menu.  Choose from Margarita, Garlic, Brunch, Hawaiian, Aussie, Pepperoni, Capricciosa, BBQ Chicken, Mexican, Brunch Supreme, Vegetarian, Meat Lovers or Supreme Pizzas – or try for something different with our Pizza Wraps (Margarita, Hawaiian, Sweet Chilli Chicken, BBQ Chicken, Meat Lovers, Vegetarian, Hot Mexican or Chicken Caesar Wraps).  We have Gluten Free Pizza Bases available on request.
