Wyndham 150yrs – Woodfired pizza

Pizza Party Hire has been selected by the Events Team at Wyndham Shire to help share their celebrations for 150years – so we will be at this event serving our scrumptious Woodfired pizza.

From its early beginnings in 1864 the Shire of Wyndham with a pub, school, police station & railway terminal has grown into the bustling city it is today. By 1871 the population of Wyndham was 1476 – in 2013 this number was 190,000 – and I am sure since then – this number has continued to increase.

From a humble farming area to one of the biggest growth areas in the country, the Wyndham Shire has grown immensely in the last 150 years and to celebrate, Wyndham is have a party – and everyone is invited to come!

Wyndham 150 years is being held at the Wyndham Civic Centre, 45 Princes Hwy, Werribee on Sunday 12^th October from 10am – 3pm.    The event is free – and there are lots of fun activities to do to keep the family entertained.    Some of the events include horse & carriage rides, workshops, farmers market, vintage photo booths, and guided tours.

There are going to be food vendors amongst the crowds, and lucky for us – Pizza Party Hire gets to share in the celebrations. We are based this council shire, so it’s a great opportunity for us to share our products & services with the local community.  We will be offering our standard mouth-watering – fresh to order woodfired pizza and pizza wraps, so come on down to 45 Princes Hwy, Werribee and check out this fantastic event.  A great way to learn about the heritage and history of the Wyndham Shire.
